Christopher Bailey has spent the last 10 years at ExxonMobil, working to create the innovative environment he and others love to work in. From challenging management to think differently as an Operations Lead and Project Manager to leading the infamous #innovation group in IT Strategy, Christopher has found ways to bend the culture toward an innovative future. Currently as a #innovation Catalyst, Christopher researches innovative techniques and gathers creative partners around him to bring the best back into ExxonMobil; like their internal Crowdsourcing service, recognized in-House and externally for providing face-to-face and virtual creative spaces. He and his innovative cohorts also created internal Podcasting and Education services and content, including the popular #innoCast podcast and Innovation Catalyst course. This wouldn’t be complete without an “Always-On” Crowdsourcing experience for the masses in the Grassroots Innovation Forum along with innovator toolkits in the InnoKit. The journey simply begins here as he and the creative minds he’s gathered around him continue to search for what to bring in next; like Lean Startup practices to support intrapreneurs in creating the next wave of innovators in the Energy industry! Christopher has a Masters of Information Systems management from Brigham Young University.
