Thomas Lambot is a Belgian-born Aerospace Engineer managing rLoop. This crowdsourced engineering team of 200+ members from all around the world built a prototype and won the Innovation award at the first hyperloop competition organized by Elon Musk in 2017. During the day, he works at NASA Ames Research Center, helping researchers and companies fly their new technologies on commercial balloons, suborbital rockets and parabolic flights. He started his career developing the first beamed thermal rocket prototype for a NASA/DARPA program in 2013. He is also Vice Chair of the AIAA San Francisco Chapter and a Board Member of the Experimental Rocket Propulsion Society. Thomas holds a M.Sc. in Aeronautics from UCL, a M.Sc. in Aerospace Propulsion from Supaero France and received multiple awards.
